AAS arranged Ataxia patients ‘get together on Sunday, 13th October 2019 at Pauranik Neuro Centre. The main objective of this get-together was to develop a friendly relationship among different patients and their care takers so that they can share their problems with each other.
The event was started with a beautiful song by AAS members Mrs. Sudha Wagh and Mrs. Jyoti joshi. During the event patients were motivated to perform some activities before the audience to boost their confidence and suppress their hesitation. Some of the patients participated in this activity and were given gifts for their encouragement.
In the event patients discussed their health issues with Dr Apoorva Pauranik.Physiotherapist – Dr. Bhavesh Chaudhari, Occupational Therapist – Dr. Garg and Speech therapist – Dr. Vibhuti Birthare also explained how ataxia patients can lead a better life in spite of the problems associated with the disease.The event was conducted by Mrs Rashmi Vyas.We want to give special thanks to whole AAS team for their tireless efforts.
