Ataxia Awareness Society (AAS<\/b>)<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>organized a Foundation Day Celebration in collaboration with ICSR and IPS Academy, Indore. <\/span>The event was organized to provide in depth knowledge about Ataxia to all concerned persons.<\/span><\/p>

The event initiated with the Welcome Speech which was given by\u00a0<\/span>Ms. Swasti Wagh\u00a0<\/b>(President of AAS). Afterwards, the event was followed by<\/span>\u00a0Saraswati Vandna\u00a0<\/b>by lighting the lamp ceremony which was done by the<\/span>\u00a0Chief Guest<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Ataxia Awareness Society gave the short introduction of all the chief Guests present there that is\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Anil Bhandari<\/b>. (<\/span>Founder of NGO ‘(Sahayata’),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Dr, Vivek Singh Kushwaha,\u00a0<\/b>(<\/span>Director. Institute of Business Management & Research, IPS),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Shri Vikram Agnihotri<\/b>, (<\/span>Limca Book of Records 2018 Record Holder),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Dr, Approva Pauranik<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>(Neurologist & Patron of AAS).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>They were honored and felicitated by floral welcome, by\u00a0<\/span>Mrs. Jagruti Upasani<\/b>\u00a0(<\/span>Volunteer).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Introduction of\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>taxia\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>wareness\u00a0<\/span>S<\/span>ociety\u00a0through power point presentation to all the audience, by<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Shri Narendra Edlabadkar<\/b>\u00a0&\u00a0<\/span>Mr.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Rahul Mimrot (<\/b>Volunteers).<\/span>\u00a0Mrs. Tapati<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Roy Yadav<\/b>\u00a0(Volunteer<\/span>)\u00a0<\/span>provided all the necessary details related to AAS website that is\u00a0<\/span>www.ataxiaindia.com<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and also explained how to use the website.<\/span><\/p>

The programme followed by the speeches of Chief Guest that\u00a0is\u00a0Dr<\/span>. Anil Bhandari\u00a0<\/b>who is the founder of a successful NGO \u2018<\/span>Sahayata<\/b>\u2019 shared his experiences of having the NGO make a run through<\/span>. Dr, Vivek<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Singh Kushwaha<\/b>\u00a0in his speech focused on the areas of sustainable development of disabled friendly society.\u00a0<\/span>Shri Vikram Agnihotri\u00a0<\/b>delivered a motivational speech<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>and shared his own experience that how one can face the challenges in spite of physical disabilities. \u00a0<\/span>Dr, Approva Pauranik<\/b>\u00a0gave suggestions for improving the quality life of ataxia patients & their caretakers. He also expressed their views on how to overcome with the sufferings of this disability. He\u00a0summarized\u00a0activities of AAS carried out in year 2018-19 and explained usefulness of these activities for ataxia patients.<\/span>\u00a0Then, the open session was organized in which all patients and audiences are invited to give their feedback and suggestions. <\/span>AAS donated wheelchairs to handicapped ataxia patient, and distributed DNA test reports\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(from CSIR, IGIB Institute of Genomics and Interrogative Biology, New Delhi)\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Some great performances were presented before the audience that made the programme delightful. A splendid display of kathak (dance) by\u00a0<\/span>Ms. Natasha\u00a0<\/b>(dance) (student), wonderful dance by\u00a0<\/span>Ms. Nupur<\/b>\u00a0(student), melodious songs by\u00a0<\/span>Mrs. Neerja Pauranik, Mrs. Alka Saxena, Mrs. Sudha Wagh\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0<\/span>Shri Rishabh Jain.\u00a0<\/b>Poem narration by\u00a0<\/span>Ms. Esha Mittal,\u00a0<\/b>(Ataxia Sufferer),<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>and a stand by comedy of\u00a0<\/span>Shri Subrat\u00a0<\/b>(student of IPS), was also amazing.<\/span>An obliged vote of thanks was proposed by AAS to doctors and dignitaries, towards their devoted time and efforts for the welfare of programme and patients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The Program ended with Vote of thanks which was delivered by\u00a0<\/span>Mrs. Tapati Roy Yadav.<\/b><\/p>
